The information systems of the GL Group are fully open-ended and their principal mission is to support the group as it develops via the setting up of new tools (notably the ERP system common to all the companies of the group) that enable us to optimise the processes and thus improve the service provided to our clients.
The mission of the information systems also covers the projects to improve existing tools (B2B platform, EDI, etc.) which have proved their ability to generate added value.
Lastly, to ensure that they meet the needs as closely as possible, the information systems department works closely with the other departments in the choice of developments, notably by setting up small working parties made up of users and IS experts whose purpose is to decide on and plan the IS developments and priorities in their respective fields (Sales Administration, Logistics, Production, After Sales Service, etc.).
